Reposition Yourself for Greatness
Lessons In Loss, Letting Go & Moving On From the Book of Ruth
All change -- from taking on a new position, becoming an empty nester, becoming a new mom, going back to school, retiring, moving to a new city, downsizing, losing or quitting a job -- contains opportunity and turmoil. Until the "new" becomes "common," the change, no matter how positive, can wreak havoc on our emotions. We "know" we should be happy or hopeful, but often find ourselves stressed and longing for the past.
How do we navigate transitions and change? How do we acknowledge the grief and stress we feel, even if things are moving towards the better? How do we get comfortable in initiating the necessary changes that lead us to the life we want rather than the life we tolerate? How do we be gentle with ourselves as we move forward?
During this highly interactive workshop, we will explore the Book of Ruth to look for help in not only dealing with and managing our emotions but also in moving forward. Each woman will also create a craft item as a way to anchor her commitment to the changes she has or needs to make.
Lunch and all craft materials are included.
