DMIN REBOOT & FINISH STRONG

DMin Reboot & Finish Strong©

DON’T LET ANOTHER DAY PASS.

IT’S TIME TO FINISH WRITING

YOUR DMIN PROJECT REVIEW OR DISSERTATION

So You Can Take Your Ministry To The Next Level

you started this to make a difference (1

Congratulations!!

You have finished your DMin coursework and maybe even your project. To get to this point, you've made a lot of sacrifices in terms of your time, finances, family, work and ministry.  You have taken courses; read hundreds, if not thousands of pages; written 50 pages or more; taken time off work: spent thousands of dollars: and even have given up lots of sleep.

While you have been successfully navigating the DMin program until this point, you now find yourself stuck.  It’s time to write either your Project Review or Project Dissertation and you just can't get started.  You are feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, discouraged and afraid.  And, even though you haven't said it out loud, you are thinking of giving up.

You have a serious case of Writer’s Block and are having issues “finding the time" to write because ministry, work, and life keep eating away at the time you’ve allotted for your project.   To make matters worse,  the support, accountability, and discipline of having someone else (i.e., your professor) determine what you will write and when it is due are not there.  All of this – the support, accountability, and discipline, in addition to the research, reading, and writing are now up to you.

When you started your DMin, you believed the investment in time and money would help you make a greater difference in the life of your church and/or community.  Most importantly, you did it, because you felt called to take your ministry to the next level.

Although you knew the process would be challenging, you were also confident that you would finish.  Now, the feelings of being overwhelmed, stressed out, discouraged, and that little voice that keeps telling you that “you can’t” are threatening to undo all the sacrifice – yours, your family’s and your church’s.

Underneath you know that delaying your writing is costing you – opportunities, money and time.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Remember:

YOU DIDN'T START YOUR DMIN NOT TO FINISH
IT'S NOT TOO LATE!
YOU CAN GET BACK ON TRACK!

Let me show you how...

YOU WANT TO BE AS EXCITED AND DETERMINED

You very likely love creating, teaching, and preaching about what you're most passionate about  -- because this is how your ministry has the greatest impact.  When you think of actually doing your project with a group of folks, you are excited and inspired because of the impact it will have on you, your ministry and the community.   But, you are not as convinced of the impact of having to do academic research and writing about ministry that you know intuitively.

However, the truth is that if you don’t want to lose your investment of time and money in the DMin process or the greater impact of your project, you are going to have to become an excellent researcher and writer.

Researching and writing well are the most critical skills you need to scale or take your ministry to the next level. They might not be enjoyable at first – writing is hard work, even for the most experienced and successful writers.  But they can be REWARDING and are the MOST IMPACTFUL.  They can also be tools of spiritual and ministry development.

You can develop a personalized writing habit and process that allows you to share all that God is teaching you to those who may never visit your church but who will read your dissertation, books, and articles.

It is time to stop procrastinating and get back to the business of completing the writing aspects of your DMin project. The world and the Church are waiting for what you have to offer.

Clarity, confidence, and connection. These are the touchstones that guide you to successfully complete the researching and writing aspects of your DMin Project. That’s what the DMin Reboot & Finish Strong© is all about. You will walk away with insight into how:

YOU CAN FINISH THE WRITING AND DEFENSE ASPECTS OF YOUR DMIN PROJECT AND DEVELOP A PROCESS BY WHICH TO TAKE ON ANY WELL RESEARCHED WELL, WRITTEN PROJECT.

There are only 8 spots available now for each Session available.  This intimate experience is for a select few DMin students who are willing to get vulnerable, get real, and get to work. You'll walk away with strategies to help you develop a personalized writing habit,  a customized roadmap that helps you create a template for writing your project review (dissertation) and for recognizing gaps in your research or methodology, and the confidence you need to push past the overwhelm, discouragement and procrastination. You in?

Meet the Coach

Felicia LaBoy

Ph.D., MBA, MDiv., ACC
"The DMin Coach"
Founder and Lead Coach, The Orchestrated Effect

Dr. Felicia LaBoy is the Lead Coach and Founder of The Orchestrated Effect, LLC, a coaching and consulting company that helps individuals, organizations, churches and communities move from being “good” to “great;” and from being “stuck” to being “unstuck.”

When Felicia was a doctoral student, she juggled being a bi-vocational pastor, a new wife and a caretaker for her dad. She knows what it is like to be aware that you need help, but don’t know exactly what is keeping you from excelling in school, ministry, and life. She learned the hard way that when school, family, and ministry are out of harmony, you may finish your degrees, but the investment of time and money is not maximized.  She learned too that working this way often causes our health, relationships, and ministry to be compromised.

In addition to her own experience, as a professor and Associate Dean for DMin programs, Felicia watched how often promising students with exciting and potentially world-changing projects would quit because they felt as if they "just couldn't complete" the writing portion.  Furthermore, she became growingly concerned that students who lagged behind and didn't finish their DMin projects were worse off for having started them because they now carried the burden of additional student loans.

Putting her academic, business, pastoral and coaching background to work, Felicia created the DMin Reboot & Finish Strong© program using the process she used to help dozens of DMin and doctoral students:

  • Discern the right program;

  • Leverage passion and real-world work/ministry experience with academic study; and

  • Graduate successfully.

Knowing that busy DMin students need a system of regular support and accountability, structure, shortcuts, and lifehack tools to keep them on track, Felicia uses Zoom Group Conferencing and FB Private Groups to increase the chance for student success.  Her structured approach is designed to benefit both students and the people they love and serve.

Dr. LaBoy believes in you and your higher purpose! By working with her to complete your DMin you experience the journey in a way that minimizes the stress, overwhelm and drains you so that you can be the community leader you are meant to be!
